Driving home today I wasn't in the greatest mood. I was disappointed in myself for assuming things again, and being let down. It was all me, again, I did it to myself. This song came on the radio and I heard it in a different way then I usually do. It's supposed to be about a guy and a girl and their relationship. But I heard it as a message to myself. Telling myself not to give up.
I've been working on being myself and doing my own thing. Making plans without worrying about others. I failed to do that today. This song fits very nicely with how I'm feeling right now. I've got alot to learn, but I won't give up. I don't want to walk away, I want to learn. I want to be who I am.
I am now listening to it on repeat, and am going to post my version of the lyrics, adding my own words (changing the you's, us's etc to I's and me's ).
